We are happy to announce the signing of Dutch winger Justin Johnson from Cypriot side Othellos Athienou.

Johnson, who’s no stranger to Scottish football after a brief spell at Dundee United in 2015-17, is relishing the opportunity of making an impact in the Scottish Premiership.

Speaking exclusively you the clubs website, Justin said: “Since arriving at Hamilton, I’ve felt welcome at this club and now everything is finally sorted I’m very excited and can’t wait to get started.

”I’m back in Scotland now and I’m more determined & more mature both on and off the pitch.”

Justin initially came in on a trial period with newly signed player Tunde Owolabi, speaking about his relationship with Tunde, Justin added: ”We’re both from Manchester and I played with him at youth level at FC United of Manchester, I’m very much familiar with him and it’s good to know we’re on this journey together.

“The Hamilton squad are all one family and everyone has their own contribution, however, the one thing everyone does is work hard for the club and we all motivate each other to do what’s best for this football club and that’s what the head coach asks for every  week.”

Johnson who will wear the squad number 37  now has international clearance from Cypriot FA.
