With the 2019-20 Reserve League being unable to be completed, the SPFL Board this week decided to conclude the season with average points per game being used to determine placings. This has resulted in Accies being named Champions of the SPFL Reserve League, just ahead of Hearts. It’s the first time we have been Reserve League winners since 1998
Our congratulations also go to Livingston who were named Reserve League 2 winners
The story from the SPFL website is here
The final average tables are also shown.

Many congratulations to the full squad involved and the coaching staff Guillaume Beuzelin, George Cairns, Dougie Imrie, Brian Potter and, of course, Brian Rice; together with Sunnan Shah and Rob Crimin.
Academy Director George Cairns commented, “I am delighted that the good season these lads had has been recognised in this way, it’s more than deserved. There is a lot of good kids there who have been with us for many years, and we have had the experience of some first team players on occasion too. However, with the current situation we are in, some of these players have also moved on as the season came to an early finish. I thank all these players very much for their efforts and congratulate them on being named Reserve Champions.”
