We are delighted to announce Jamie Hamilton has been called up for u19s international duty.

What a week it’s been for 17-year-old Jamie who has played 120 minutes on his first-team debut against Kilmarnock in the Betfred Cup, now he’s been selected for Billy Stark’s Scotland squad.

The academy graduate started against the Ayrshire side on Saturday’s last 16 game, and after his performance, he’ll be hoping to be part of Brian Rice’s squad to take on Motherwell in the upcoming Lanarkshire Derby.

Academy Director, George Cairns said: “I know what I’m going to get from Jamie, he’s a top-quality¬†player and I’m absolutely delighted he’s been selected again for Scotland. It doesn’t come as a surprise, as he’s worked hard to get first-team and international opportunities.”

Scotland u19s will play two warm-up matches against Japan in Pinatar, Spain on the 5th & 9th of September.
