George Stanger has joined Scottish Lowland League side East Kilbride on a short-term loan.
The 19 year old will play his football for fellow South Lanarkshire side East Kilbride until January 2020. Stanger played for New Zealand u20s in the recent FIFA u20 World Cup in Poland and has since been called up for the u23s Olympic squad.
George was part of our UEFA Youth League squad from last season that knocked out Basel and then faced Danish side Midtjylland.
The defender said: “I’m looking forward to getting game time under my belt and playing with the New Zealand squad soon as well. It’s very competitive football that’s played in the Lowland League so I’m relishing the challenge.”
The transfer went through on 30th August.
