Development League Draw

Our u20s drew 3-3 away to Falkirk on Tuesday night in an entertaining game played at Falkirk Stadium. Greg Docherty gave us a 25th minute lead, however the home side equalised five minutes later and went 2-1 up with a penalty two minutes after that. Eamonn Brophy netted a lovely equaliser for us three minutes into the second half.

Our trialist striker then came mighty close before having one disallowed for offside. The bairns then carved out some good chances, one audacious effort from 35 yards hitting Alan Martin’s far post before our keeper made another great save. Falkirk’s O’Hara made it 3-2 in the 77th minute with a diving header, however we got a deserved equaliser four minutes from time when good play in and around the box lead to player / manager Martin Canning’s persistence getting the ball into the back of the net to make it 3-3.
