Departures

As always at the end of the season, players choose to move on for their own reasons, some are released by the club, some are still in negotiations, others are very much still here!

Departing with our thanks and good wishes for the future –
Ali Crawford came to us in September 2006 as a 15 year old after being released by Hearts, went on to make 271 appearances for us scoring 39 goals. Ali, who unfortunately missed a chunk of the season through injury, is out of contract and has chosen to move on;
Lewis Ferguson came to us five years ago as a 13 year old from Rangers and made his debut midway through this season, he made 14 appearances before missing the end of the season injured. He has chosen to move to Aberdeen and as he is under 23 the clubs are now in negotiations over a compensation fee;
Darren Jamieson came from Livingston just under two years ago and played twice this season, including starting v Rangers live on tv. The ‘keeper moves on;
Danny Redmond has had three spells with us over the years, initially coming on loan from Wigan six years ago, and made 123 appearances for us, scoring 11 times. The 27 year old midfielder has chosen to return south;
Georgios Sarris came two seasons ago, the Greek defender scored once in 58 games;
Charlie Scott came on loan from Manchester Utd in January and returns to Old Trafford having played twice;
David Templeton came to us 14 months ago and was top scorer with 10 goals this season from 31 games and selected as fans player of the year. Again he is on freedom of movement and has chosen to move on;
Xavier Tomas came at the start of the season from Lausanne, the 32 year old French defender played 40 times this season;
Jamie Boyd has been with us since he was 9, and signed academy youth forms in September 2009 when he turned 10. Has progressed through all the academy stages and was a regular in the u20s over the last couple of seasons. Unfortunately injured in his last appearance against Aberdeen a couple of weeks ago. Good luck to Jamie.

17 year old defender George Stanger was on a development loan with Stirling Albion, Steven Boyd scored three goals in 17 games for us before going on loan with Livingston and Marc Kelly is still on loan at Bo’ness Utd. They all return to us on completion of their loan spells.

Further ins and outs will happen over the close season. We wish all departing players good wishes for the future.
