In light of the recent outbreak of the COVID-19, as a club we’re following the measures and advice of our governing bodies SFA/SPFL.

The game means nothing without the well-being of our players, staff, fans and fellow Scottish football community.

As it currently stands there is no planned date for the return of Football just yet and rightly so given the spread of this horrible virus.

This morning, players and staff sat in on a meeting with our Chairman with the conclusion being a temporary suspension of training until further notice.

HAFC Chairman Allan Maitland said: “It’s times like this when football doesn’t matter.

“As a club we must take these measures to protect everyone associated with the football club, their families, friends and other individuals that may come in contact with any of our staff.

“We of course would love to be playing football  right now and preparing for our next match but sadly that cannot be the case and I’ve taken the decision along with our board to do what’s best for everyone.”

We ask our fans and the football community to stick together through these difficult times.

The club will provide further updates as and when we can.
