We are delighted to announce Brian Easton has agreed an additional year to his contract.
Easton, who’s predominantly taken on the role as captain this season, has committed his future to the club until at least 2021. The 31-year-old returned to Hamilton in July 2019 following a successful spell at St Johnstone where he lifted the Scottish Cup and was a crucial part of Tommy Wright’s side.
Brian Easton came all the way through our academy system here at Hamilton and now currently sits on 150 appearances for the club. Speaking to the clubs website he said: “I’m delighted to commit my future to the team where it all began for me. I came through the academy here at Hamilton and I’m happy to be here now as a senior player.”
“I’m fortunate enough to have played here alongside the likes of McCarthy & McCarthur and now we’ve got young Jamie Hamilton & Lewis Smith, so not much has changed really except I’m now helping these younger lads through.”
Easton looks set to lead the team out against Edinburgh City on the 18th of January in the William Hill Scottish Cup.
