Back to a rare Saturday v Aberdeen

This weekend’s Ladbrokes Premiership match at home to Aberdeen is a rare Saturday fixture in the recent meetings between the clubs.

From 1993 – 2010 we had 10 successive Saturday meetings; however only one of the last 15 games between us has been on a Saturday (back in December 2014 at Pittodrie). 14 out the last 15 have been Sunday / Monday / Tuesday / Wednesday / Friday.

And you have to go back to March 2010 for the last Saturday fixture here.

We have Massimo Donati suspended for this game, but Danny Redmond is fit again and is added to the squad. Antonio Rojano netted his first goal for the club at Dens last week, he will be looking to add to that total today. Dougie Imrie, having played all 17 games, is our only ever present this season, with Rakish Bingham, Steven Boyd and Greg Docherty all on 16.

Louis Longridge has gone on loan to Falkirk, we wish him well for his debut there.

Normal admission prices this Saturday, £22 and £12, 3pm kick off. See you there!
